The profession of Interior Design came with the rise of the middle-upper class society. Starting with the basics, an Interior Designer is someone trained to create and execute plans, research, coordinate, and manage projects with authority.
On a personal level, IDr. Iris Ocampo has an immense appreciation for a range of design comprehension. For her, good design realises the potential of any space. It involves considered choices teamed with sense. Spaces are truly great work when balance is created through contrast and purpose and as a designer, she has a strong understanding of how spaces come together, from the Interior Architecture region to the furniture and soft furnishing that fill it. The core concept , colour palette, material choice and finishes are equally important – each element is essential to creating one cohesive look that is both resolved and innovative. Every project should tell a story about the people who inhabit them.
She built a comprehensive portfolio that displays her ability to work across a range of interior genres. Working on projects that span from residential refurbishments and new builds to key commercial and hospitality fit-outs. Having completed a Bachelor of Interior Design at University of Santo Tomas, she is formally educated and trained in an industry that she truly adores. As an Interior Designer, flexibility has been a requirement for her to design well for her clients. Along with ever-changing industry, it has permeated her with an innate sense of creative sphere.
